About This Item

San Antonio, TX: The Bear Publishers, 1979. First edition. xi, 278 pp, illustrated throughout with black-and-white line diagrams and charts. 1 vols. 8vo. Publisher's blue pebbled paper, stamped in gilt on spine, in a fine unclipped silver and blue illustrated dust jacket. First edition. xi, 278 pp, illustrated throughout with black-and-white line diagrams and charts. 1 vols. 8vo. An unusual - and most certainly unique - astrological approach to investing in the American stock market.

The dust jacket proclaims Gillen to be a "daring Astrologer-prophet-genius" and "a modern day Nostradamus," and as befits those descriptors, this volume is less a technical, empirically-based treatise on financial speculation than how a reader can utilize "the science of Astrology" to predict the stock market and reap profound monetary rewards. Not limiting himself to the financial world, Gillen also wrote similar guides on applying astrology to betting on sports and in casinos, as well as the workplace.
