New York: Putnam, 1943. First Edition. Signed presentation copy, inscribed by the author: “For Rose, Here we are back south again,Tom Gill. Washington, D.C. April 20, 1943.” Very good in a very good lightly dust soiled dust jacket with a few small chips and tears. A romantic adventure story set in Central America full of romance and intrigue. The front panel of the dust jacket is a color painting of a handsome young American man and a beautiful young Hispanic woman with a jungle scene in the background.
