Olive cloth over marbled boards with gilt spine decorations; xiii,[5],383pp; color plates by David Gentleman. Bookplate of the distinguished American zoologist James G. Mead to front pastedown, with his dated ownership signature on front free endpaper. A fine copy in the original publisher's slipcase, with LEC monthly letter laid in.
