Several clippings and related promotional materials for the book laid in. The inscribee was Raymond W. Smith, 1942-2021, who also studied with Walker Evans at Yale and later became an antiquarian bookseller and the author "In Time We Shall Know Ourselves," a book about photographs he had taken in the summer of 1974.
