New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1953. Hardcover. good/good. 504p, 8vo. A good copy in a good jacket. Previous owners' names penciled on half title, a handful of pages have notes/markings penciled in margins. End papers offset. Jacket chipped at spine end, with nicks, rubbing, and closed tears along edges, backside taped. Laid in is a typed letter signed by Archibald Hanna on Yale University Library letterhead. Hanna was a long time curator of rare books at Yale, and a historian and author.
