Boston: Joseph Knight Company, 1892 FIRST EDITION. 643 pages with small water stain on last 4 pages. Printed on glossy paper. Top of pages gold gilt. Very unusual binding with floral deign fabric shifting into green decorative cloth with gold gilt design of teacup and swirls, which then wraps around the spine to the back board. Some brown spots on front/back board cloth. No gilt on back board. Spine top and bottom has small tears in cloth, bottom corners are bumped. Has gift inscription. Color frontis with tissue, with black and white illustrations in text. Dark Green end pages. Binding and hinges strong. Overall this is tight book in good condition.
