Spine sunned and stained; evidence of moisture exposure to the spine and along the very bottom edge of the front wrapper; visible in the very inner margin of the preliminaries, otherwise the text itself is clean; one page opening has offsetting from a piece of newsprint used as a page marker; a serviceable copy signed and inscribed by Berkley, Jr, to Eppa Hunton IV, grandson of Confederate Generals Eppa Hunton and William Payne.
