Philadelphia: John C. Winston Co./The International Press, 1902. First edition. Hardcover. Near fine. 2 vols. x,377,(1);vi,374pp. Index in each vol. Original red linen dust jackets with gilt lettered spines (a bit darkened). Pictorial red cloth beautifully stamped in gilt. T.e.g. Illustrated with 50 photogravure plates, each with a printed tissue guard. Large folding color map tipped in at rear of Volume II. Inner rear hinge of Vol. II cracked but holding soundly. Bookplates on front pastedowns. One leaf in Vol. II (page 189-190) with a small closed tear (no loss of text). Still a very nice, bright set.
