Tanning to the book's spine an d soiling to its covers. Rubbing along its corners and frays to the sp ine tips. Small bumps to the corners. The front cover has a vertical 3 /4" split at the upper spine edge. Pages 375 to 380 have long tears at their lower edges. Includes 46 plates by Joseph Pennell. .
