Boston: Hurd and Houghton, 1873. Cloth. Good. Green cloth. 182 pages. Illustrated. Includes two fold-out maps, missing map facing page 27. A somewhat informal, although detailed, history of the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire and Maine, spanning from their discovery and use as fishing islands in colonial times to the 19th century. GOOD condition. Minor fading and rubbing to the covers. Small tear to the lower center backstrip. Minor soiling. Bookplate on the inside front cover. Aforementioned map missing.
