[3], v-xiii, [3], 3-501, [1] pp. Brown cloth with gold lettering blocked in black on the spine. Price of $12.50 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated by a frontispiece of Isaac Newton and by several facsimile title pages and facsimile pages of text from scientific journals in which Newton published. Edited by I. Bernard Cohen and assisted by Robert E. Schofield. Each section is introduced by an expert in the field who places Newton's writings in their historical and scientific context. A comprehensive collection of Newton's papers and fragmentary writings outside of his Principia and the Opticks. A small concavity to the spine, a few grey flecks to the top textblock; jacket with two tape repairs to its reverse.
