Volume 1: Slight scuffing and edge wear of leather, insect nibbling along spine inside front cover and along part of spine of first blank, some loss of blank margin of Plates 1, 5, 14, and 19, small margin tear in Plate 2, foxing. Volume 2: Foxing. Early American edition of a survey of contemporary scientific developments in such areas as electricity, magnetism, chemistry, matter, mechanics, light, optics, and astronomy. One of the plates is an interesting "telescopic appearance of the moon." . Good. Hard Bound. A New Edition, with Improvements.. 1795.
