About This Item
New York: McKay, 1959. First Edition. Signed and inscribed by the author, Joseph Steele to longtime Hollywood columnist Army Archerd: “Dear Army— Here it is, and here I sit, waiting for the Chinese drip-drip-drip of the reviewers. With all my best to you. Joe Steele. June 18, 1959, Beverly Hills”. Joseph Steele was a personal representative, intimate friend, and advisor to Ingrid Bergman for over 15 years, and this book details her accomplishments onscreen and stormy relationships at home. Fine in a near fine dust jacket with minor wear to top and bottom of spine and a slight crease to the front panel.
