The dust jacket is rubbed with chipping and small tears at the top edge, and a small tear bottom edge right-hand side rear panel. Price clipped, foxing spot on the verso of the front panel, previous bookseller's rubber stamp bottom right-hand corner of the first page, age darkening and the spotting of the top edge of the text block. No other damage. Planet Earth survives near contact with a quasar, not without British Stoicism and panic around the rest of the world. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
