Boston: D. Lothrop and Company, 1886. Leather. Good. Soft brown decorative leather (with cotton backing), over cardboard covers. 59 pp. 12 full page illustrations, full page frontis and 2 vignettes, all present as called for in the contents. Errata slip at the title page corrects the amount of illustrations present. A collection of poetry by Celia Thaxter accompanied by illustrations from Childe Hassam, Edmund H, Garrett, George Foster Barnes, Henry Bacon and others. GOOD condition. General fading, minor soiling and staining to the covers. Heavy scuffs at the rear corners, spine tips and edges. Previous owner's gift inscription and bookplate present. First endpaper almost detached from the text block. Minor toning in the interior, with minor to moderate scattered foxing throughout. Semicircular dampstain sporadically affecting the upper page edges and margins throughout.
