London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1908. First edition with these illustrations. 4to, [xii], 215pp. 25 colour plates by G Denholm Armour. Original full brown suede, gilt titling to front board and spine, top edge gilt. This is only a fair copy - the binding is rubbed and stained, one edge of the spine is repaired, the front free endpaper is missing and a piece has been cut from the top of the next page (the limitation page). There is also some light scattered foxing of the contents. This edition is limited to 350 copies signed by the illustrator, of which this copy is number 86.
