CONDITION: Ex-Catholic University of America Libraries copy (Washington, D.C.) with only a stamp on the lower title page and a number stamp to the reverse of the title (no checkout pockets or other marks found from library). The outside has original binding and is in good condition; there are minor splits to the cloth at the top edge of spine (probably from shelf pulls); the bottom edge of the spine has some light fraying; the front hinge has light fraying (front board really tight); there are a few small size spots to the top edge of the front board; the front board has a really mild color fade near one side. There is a private bookplate like card affixed to the inside front pastedown with the name 'Sydney Crowthers'. There is also a gift ink inscription from Christmas of 1909 nicely written on the first front free endpaper. Book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book.
