Illustrated with frontispiece and twenty-two plates. Collated complete. A collection of humorous tales, including: The Legend of Mirth, The First Sailor, Pig, His Gift, and The Village that Voted the Earth was Flat. Written by Rudyard Kipling, an English novelist, short story writer, poet, and journalist, born in British India which inspired much of his work. Best known for The Jungle Book and Just So Stories. Illustrated by Reginald Cleaver, a British cartoonist notable for his work in Punch and The Daily Graphic. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good
