The first edition, first impression of this collection of humorous short stories by Rudyard Kipling in the original dust wrapper and with illustrations. First edition, first impression of Humorous Tales from Rudyard Kipling in the original publisher's red cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. One of Kipling's later works of fiction.With twenty-three illustrations by Reginald Cleaver, an early twentieth century British cartoonist known for his work in Punch Magazine and The Daily Graphic. Collated, complete. Includes thirty short stories. With gilt to the front board and spine. In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is worn to the extremities with a few small tears and some very slight loss. Is is also slightly faded. There is bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. Very Good
