About This Item
London: Macmillan London Ltd, 1981. Hardcover. Near Fine. pp 177 A most attractive illustrated record of one year (1980) in the life of Sir Hugh Casson, President of the Royal Academy of Arts, with author's signature in pen on white card tipped in to ffep. The book is beautifully illustrated with "gentle and fresh" watercolours by Casson along with pen and ink cartoons surrounding the text. Very good, bound in its original brown cloth; edges spotted, internally the text is fresh and crisp; the pictorial dust jacket is near fine, protected by a cellophane wrapper. Ownership stamp to front pastedown and some annotated red dots beside the illustrations. A most attractive copy. Near Fine 1981
