London : H.M.S.O., 1966, first edition in two volumes, hb with xix; 382 p. col. ftp and b/w photos; cased 17 folded drawings with designs, diagrams. Text -fine/very good vol. with dec. boards - gilt on blue with simple dust jacket, case very good blue boards slight wear to gilt on spine. Additonal authors: Great Britain Victory Advisory Technical Committee. This is a detailed account of the building of the ship; of her permanent docking in 1922; of the fight against deathwatch beetle and fungal decay; and of her very extensive restoration and reconstruction including full particulars of structure, masts and spars, rigging, blocks and sails.
