Edinburgh: No Publisher, 1771. No publisher, "Edinburgh, Printed in the Year M, DCC, LXXI" at title pages. Three volumes in contemporary full calf, backs in six compartments with five raised bands, red leather title labels with gilt lettering and gilt floral decorations bordered by gilt rules. Very Good Plus, small bios of the book and the author pasted to front paste down of Vol. I, gilt lettering a bit rubbed yet legible, end pages toned from binder's glue, boards a bit soiled. Bindings are firm and supple, text clean, a quite handsome and well-cared-for set, and a rather uncommon edition. . Early Scottish Edition. Full Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
