Black cloth with gilt lettering; gilt, yellow, red and blind-stamped decoration. Small stain on bottom edge; remainder mark on top edge. Previous owner's name or initials in three places: reverse of front free end sheet, title-page, and rear end sheet. Head and tail of jacket spine as well as lower flap hinges have been reinforced with clear tape on the outside; crease in front flap. Text is clean and binding is tight..
