Roy. 8vo. Two volumes. Water Birds Pp. xx + 400. Land Birds Pp. xxxviii + 346. Contemporary full calf. Matching gilt decorated spines. Both boards have some gilt decoration and texturing but are not identical. Spines have been recently reinforced with tape. There are some very occasional light spots of foxing mainly to the Land Birds. It is a very good set. Water Birds is dated 1804. It is the thick royal issue, first edition. Roscoe 17b Variant A. Land Birds is dated 1805. Also thick royal issue, third edition. Roscoe 18b.
