1874. DRAKE, Samuel Adams. HISTORIC FIELDS AND MANSIONS OF MIDDLESEX. Boston: James R. Osgood and Company, 1874. xiv + 442 pp. 8vo., maroon cloth stamped in gilt and blind. Spine sunned to light brown, chipped 1/8 inch at heel and crown, not affecting text. Beveled boards rubbed, corners worn. Gilt faded on spine but bright in cover vignette. Coated brown endpapers. Overopened at page preceding frontispiece. Occasional soil in page margins. B/w plates, including folding map at beginning of text, all in excellent condition. Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
