Chicago: Grosset & Dunlap. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1935. Authorized Edition. Hardcover. Signed by the author on the half title page less than one week after America's entry into World War II, "With Best Wishes for this Season and every season. Very cordially yours, Charles M. Sheldon. December 12, 1941." The covers remain wrapped in the original plastic dust protector which is worn and missing a portion along the top edge of the front cover and a larger portion at the bottom spine corner of the rear cover. The book itself remains very clean. There is light wear to the cover corners and a very slight spine lean can be seen. Inside, the book is very clean and tightly bound with a slight, even toning to the text. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 245 pages; Signed by Author .
