An oil rig firefighter is hospitalized after a bulldozer accident, leading him to reflect on his family and foundering personal relationships.
Set in Louisiana and Texas, shot on location in Conroe and Baytown, Texas and Casper, Gillette, Jackson, Wyoming.
Red titled wrappers, noted as FINAL SCREENPLAY on the front wrapper, dated February 27, 1968. Title page present, noted as Final Screenplay, with credits for screenwriter John Lee Mahin (who was not credited in the final release). 156 leaves, with last page of text numbered 142. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue and pink revision pages throughout, dated variously between 3/8/68 and 5/23/68. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound with two gold brads.
