About This Item
London: Sampson Low, 1966. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First UK edition. Red boards with black titles. pp. 158, frontispiece and illustrated endpapers. Quite a nice copy - the book is square and fairly tight, small impact dent to lower edge, front cover. Discreet previous owner name to top corner of the front endpaper. Some discolouration to the fore-edge and a couple of small stains there, the block has toned with age. Otherwise presentable, the boards are very clean, the binding firm. The dustjacket is fairly bright but price-clipped. Shelf-worn along all the edges and at the spine ends. Considering that these cheaply-made books were not really made to last, this copy has done pretty well and remains appealing.
