Pages are lightly tanned, heavier to edges, but text remains clear. Mild foxing and moderate marking to endpapers. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscriptions to front endpapers, with glue residue to pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Noticeable crushing and slight splitting to spine ends. Light rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking also. Gilt remains bright.
