Privately Published, 1960. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Orville Logan Snider. Good/none. Wire bound, 202 pages of text and 96 plates of weapons. Wraps are scuffed and show shelf-wear. Internally the plates and text are clean however the covers show rust where the ring-wire has rested against the paper. Based on the pictorial and descriptive catalog of the Frank E. Bivins, Jr. inspirational collection of varitype firearms and accessories. Inscribed, signed and dated on the ffep by F. Theodore Dexter the cataloger. Inscribed to H. McCallum which is Harold McCallum who at one time had the world's largest rifle collection, most of them lever action Winchesters. He used to set up a display of his collection at gun shows that was 120 feet long and was used by promoters as a show draw. Laid in is a 1997 newspaper article discussing the man and his collection.
