Blind stamped on the front cover with BRISTOL AND AUSTRALIAN PACKET COMPANY and with the title and Miles Bros. & Co on the spine. Presumably supplied by the shipping company for the entertainment of passengers migrating from Britain and Ireland in the 1850's. The Irish Potato Famine of lasted from 1845-49. Corners bumped and worn, spine hinges splitting, covers worn but an interesting and evocative item. 6.5 x 4 Inches. Half-Leather. Fair/No Jacket. 6.5 x 4 Inches. Book.
