Blue cloth with black sp. lettering, clean and unworn, a tad dull. 816 pp.; clean tight and unmarked bar a few tanning flecks to front end-paper and slight edge-tanning probably common to all or most copies. Unclipped jacket, clean, spine quite darkened, with minor end chipping, also tiny chip lower front outer corner, will add protective sleeve when ordered. Appears to be genuinbe 1st e., 1st printing of this popular work which went through a number of subsequent down to 1947 at least. 113 cm x 18.5 cm
