1948 Appalachian Trail Guide also titled From The Connecticut - New York State Line To The Susquehanna River, PA. This edition from the early years of the trail is in good shape given its age and does not appear to have spent much time on the trail. Flexibound with metal paper rivet fasteners. Brown boards with black stamping are rubbed and lightly scuffed over hinges with a small water stain at top of spine. Endpapers unmarked. Text is lightly tanned and mottled at tops of pages where maps are tipped in. Includes 8 fully intact fold out maps. A nice additon to a through-hikers library.
