About This Item

London: Bloomsbury, 2008. First edition, first printing. Published by Bloomsbury, London, in 2008. This is a fine copy. The pictorial dust wrapper is bright and clean throughout, with very little rubbing to note. It has not been price clipped. The pictorial end papers are bright, clean, and show (as the title suggests) literature and potato peel pies! The boards are free from chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is in fine condition. An epistolary novel set in 1946, composed of letters written from one character to another. It was adapted into a film in 2018 featuring Lily James as Juliet Ashton and Matthew Goode as Sidney Stark.
