During the Great Depression, Anderson led debt-ridden immigrants in the $17,000,000 takeover of a massive irrigation system from the Canadian Pacific Railway; later he helped establish the cattle industry in Alberta. INSCRIBED on the title page by the author, "Best wishes, Pat and Ted [signature]". Paper, shows some use, minor corner curl, light creasing.
