New York: Walker & Company, 1961. HEAVY. Introduction by Hanson W Baldwin.348 pages, b/w illustrations throughout. Relevant newspaper cuttings in English and as well in Hungarian, colour and b/w photographs, and a book jacket cover, have been taped to prelims to, but not including, the title page, and at the rear on pages 323, 324, 325 and the recto of the rear flyleaf. There are a few marginal notes in biro. Cloth boards in rubbed and chipped dust-jacket which has a creased 75 mm tear by the upper edge of the front panel and some loss. The book describes the most famous weapons of the Second World War. More than 300 planes, ships, tanks, small arms and artillery weapons are illustrated in this edition and nearly 100 are discussed in detail.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair to Good. 4to.
