The books are in very good condition with some corner bumps & scuffing to leather edges. A few of the end papers have small tears near the spine and one has a larger but mended tear to a rear end paper. The contents are quite clean and crisp and illustrated with tissue protected photogravures as well as wood engravings and typogravures. There are many illustrations..
