Black and white illustrations and illustrative plates throughout. Binding remains firm. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Thumb marking present. Pages and illustrations are moderately tanned throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly. Scuffs and scratches to boards, especially back.
