London, The Religious Tract Society, 1905. Hardback, 10 x 7.5 inches. In Vellum bound covers with gilt lettering to front and spine, with blind embossed decoration. Top page edges gilt. In very good condition. Some minor handling marks to cover, some minor rubbing to ends of spine, else clean and smart. In protective clear plastic jacket. Some minor handling marks and a couple of minor spots to endpapers, some darkening to endpapers from tape on protective jacket. Some darkening and dark foxing spots to outer page edges, edges rough cut. Mounts of plates with some darkening and foxing, foxing mostly to tissue guards, adjacent pages are effected by darkening and foxing, including title page. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 250pp. With Fifteen Bromide Photograph plates, all with titled tissue guards, from Original Illustrations by Harold Copping.
