Octavo, 215pp, [1]. Illustrated papers. Full number line on copyright page. Publisher's green hardcover, title stamped in gilt, photographic plate affixed to cover. Bumped lower corner of both boards, light wear from handling. Includes hundreds of color photographs from the history of golf. An exceptional collection of signatures on their individual "Golf Legend" biographies. This copy is signed by Tom Watson, inscribed "To Jeff, Take Care, Gary Player," signed by Jack Nicklaus, and signed twice by Arnold Palmer. This work features articles about 70 influential men and women in the history of golf. This first edition was preceeded by a similar publication in 1997, with the same title.
