London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and New York: Blackie & Son, Ltd., 1890. Red decorative cloth with gold gilt letters on the cover and spine and on the page edges. No publication date but the Preface is dated June 1890. On the inside front cover is a 3.5" x 5.5" illustsrated paper with the following printed words: "Ex Libris Olive Holbrook Palmer". Palmer was a well known citizen and philanthropist from the San Francisco area who lived from 1878 through 1958. Her father was a wealthy San Francisco businessman, Charles Holbrook, who lived from 1830 through 1925.. Decorative Cloth. Good/None. 7 x 10. Old and Rare.
