About This Item
Hart-Davis, MacGibbon: London, 1973. First edition (& 1st printing). Hardcover. Short story collection: contents differs greatly to the collection brought out in the US with the same title by Knopf three years later. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR/''London Aug 4th, 1978. for Alfred Disch, I wish (for my sake) this were a better produced book. Such as it is, it's the first edition. From a genealogical viewpoint I think ''Let Us Quickly Hasten..'' is perhaps the most interesting. Best regards Tom Disch''. Page edges browning, touch of bruising to top corner tips, an almost fine copy in a near fine dustjacket.
