Half black leather gilt, with Ann Muir marbled paper-covered sides, slipcase, 8vo, (vi), 128 pages, 12 color plates, 30 monochrome illustrations, 30 original specimen pages of leaves, two DWs and discriptive sheet in a card portfolio. One of 45 numbered copies bound by the Fine Bindery of Wellingborough and signed by the author on a printed label affixed to the front paste-down. Specimen leaves are from the Canterbury Tales, The Georgics of Vergil, Two Centuries of Typefounding, Pearl, and Calendar of the Year 1923. The book and portfolio are fitted into a grey paper and black cloth slipcase. Fine.
