Maroon cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine under illustrated dustwrapper. 9ins x 6ins, endpapers as pedigrees, 320pp plus frontis and 15pp plates. Previous owners signatures to top of half-title page and to front pastedown (under the flap of the dw). Dw is chipped to top of spine and has a one inch closed tear to base of spine / rear cover. VG / G.
