About This Item

Bellville, SA: Mayibuye Books, 1992. Collecton of poetry by this white anti-apartheid activist, who had, at the time of publication, recently returned to South Africa after some 30 years in exile, where he helped found the Mayibuye Centre for History & Culture in South Africa, intended to collect & preserve materials on the fight against racism there. INSCRIBED by the author on the first page: "Best wishes to Tom on the occasion of your visit to the Mayibuye Centre Barry". Paperback, green covers. Light wear, ink date on first page, old sticker remnants on rear cover; bend/crease to first few pages, extending, though diminished, through the book - a binding flaw. Text clean; [6], 87 pages + 3 pages publisher's ads.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. 5½" by 8¼".
