Inscribed to te Author/Editor, Hiram Hayden, on ffep. Price clipped. Lacking the Bollingen Prize wraparound band. Black remainder mark on top and bottom text block. Age toning to spine dj with lightly age-toned text block edges, else, Pristine, no wear. No markings, tight binding, clean, white and bright. 5.75" x 8.75". Light green cloth with gilt-stamped potted shrub on front board, and gilt lettering to spine. Illustrated dj in acetate protector. "Hiram Collins Haydn (1907-1973) was an American author and editor in chief at Random House before leaving to help establish Atheneum Publishing.".
