London: Witherby & Co., 1913. Very well illustrated, including two colour plates and a map frontispiece, large thick octavo, pp lii, 567, all edges gilt, the hinge at the title page a little weak, and a slight suggestion of weakness generally, otherwise clean and sound internally, the front free endpaper creased at the lower corner and both front endpapers with a slight rust mark, dark green cloth very slightly worn, the spine and joints a little rubbed and bleached. [The Oates-Selborne copy, with the bookplate of Robert Washington Oates; the library was later gifted to the Gilbert White Museum in 1955.]. First Edition. Cloth. Good.
