A beautifully illustrated work, originally published privately and gifted to acquaintances of the author in 1837. For many years this book was only found in catalogues and bought mainly by collectors, but it found significant popularity and appreciation a century later by a waning shooting community who found their way of life in decline along with the country estates in which they were often based.
