The second edition. 4to. Pp. xxviii + 476. Original illustrated cloth, spine ends frayed and corners rubbed. Endpapers spotted and some very minor spotting to the title page. Illustrated by Charles Whymper with 40 fine chromolithographs + one plate (the Turtle Dove) which is screen printed. The plates are all fine.
