Eyre Methuen, 1980. VG/VG, not price-clipped, no inscriptions. loose fitting full plastic sleeve over all. A trilogy. Sam Morley, author of the third book, and editor of the other two describes six years of war service - mostly in destroyers. The first book describes the career of Lt-Cmdr W.E.Woods RN, who served in the RN for 50 years, and saw service in HMS Bellerophon during WW1. The second book describes the experiences of CPO Bill Dunlevy who survived the sinking of HMS Exeter, and, as a Japanese POW, watched the second atom bomb fall on Nagasaki. Although designed as a trilogy a fourth story was added describing the mayhem of the Dieppe Raid in 1942, by a Marine Commando
